Wow, this video is interesting. There’s a lot going on here. Musically she reminds me of Annie Lennox without the self-pity. The video looks like a combination of “Interview with the Vampire” and a Maxfield Parrish painting.
What a lot of energy! Her performance kind of reminds me of how hard Meat Loaf used to emote – only it’s a lot easier to watch when it’s done by a pretty woman with impossibly perfect teeth :-) Kind of a strange contrast between how strongly she’s singing and how quietly she’s lip-syncing in the video.
I think I like it.
